healing, or just the simple small wonders.
Case 17: Prayer Cloth Wonder
When I work at Bob Evans, I had a manager by the named of Mac, he was a lost man, as far as I knew. He had an ex wife
who had a brain clot that starting bleeding. They took her to the hospital, where at first her chances of making it out of
the hospital alive ever again not counting the side attacks, handicaps and unknown difficulties she would faces would only
be 50/50 chance, as the days turn the chances according to the doctors of her living grown slimmer and slimmer until they
were nothing at all. She was in a coma, on the breathing machine. If we turn it off, she will die. If we leave it on she will
never wake up they said. So I ask my manager tho he wasn't saved, if he wanted a prayer cloth and I explain it to him what
it meant. So he agreed and I gave him the cloth. Well when you have a prayer cloth, you give it to the person that is sick.
By praying over a prayer cloth, it's like putting your prayer on a material object so that person can carry around the prayer
with them. However my beloves, it is not the prayer or the cloth itself that heals, it is the faith that goes into it. So
when I gave Mac the prayer cloth the next time I saw him. He was wearing it. He had it pinned to his outfit. And at Bob's
no religious anything can be showed for you might "offend" someone. However he refused to take it off. Saying it is a prayer
cloth, Michele gave it to me for Sherry (his ex wife) for her to get better. " So I ask Mac how she was doing a few days later
after him every day wearing the cloth. Great he said, she is awake, and the doctors thought if she woke up she would be blind
and so far there are no side effects. After a few more days, this is only a week later and Mac is still wearing the prayer
cloth, I ask again how is she doing? Is she coming home soon? Mac replied with a grin on his face, she is already at home.
But she has to go through 6 weeks of physical theropy. Well Mac eventually stop wearing the prayer cloth, but after a about
3-4 I ask if the physical theorpy helped her. Mac look at me, and said she is already done with it. I said you told me it'll
be at least 6 weeks. He said yeah, that is what the doctors said but she came along so fine that they said she really didn't
need it at all, and they are done with it all together she is back home and is about ready to go back to work.
So see even tho Mac wasn't a Christian, and even tho his ex wife didn't actually have the prayer cloth, the faith that
the people pray and Mac having the guts to wear it and having the faith even if he wasn't saved. Knowing that God would heal
her and he did just makes it one of those prayer cloth wonders.
